Aroma: Huge nose dominated by leather, blackberries, and cassis, underscored by loads of chocolate covered dark cherries, mint, green peppers, and game notes. Beautiful caressing tannins.
Finish: Long and lingering finish morphing from currants into ripe strawberries
Rating: 89-90 points

Notes: A huge and delightfully balanced red wine perfectly suited to grilled lamb chops, game and stinky cheeses. Drink now, those beautiful tannins are spot on right now.
